The target audience for Co-op radio isn’t the customer, but their 75,000 colleagues in-store – after all they are listening for up to 8 hours a day. With this in mind, we completely revamped the service when we launched in to 2,600 stores in 2018 and produce over 86 hours of fresh presenter content each week. Specially curated playlists and interactive features, alongside regional shows featuring, English, Welsh and Scottish presenters engage colleagues and reaches 20 million customers every week – making Co-op radio the UK’s most listened to radio station! And, as an added bonus the service is a successful revenue stream through supplier funded advertising led by Threefold Media Sales Agency.
